Hi, I’m Amanda – a PR consultant with 17 years’ experience in entertainment and purpose-driven publicity, including 12 years in leadership and management roles.
I offer a varied portfolio of services spanning strategic communications, event media management and entertainment publicity – with a particular focus on books, TV, entertainment and live events. I’m especially interested in supporting projects that champion social good.
For over a decade, I’ve project managed large-scale, global red-carpet events, from the BAFTA TV and TV Craft Awards (2016–2022) to the PFA Awards (2024–2025) and the Opening Night Gala of The Devil Wears Prada Musical, supporting Elton John’s AIDS Foundation (2024).
Prior to launching my consultancy, I was Director of Television Publicity at a well known agency and, throughout my career, I’ve worked with some of the biggest names in the TV industry including: Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV+, BAFTA, the BBC, the BFI, Channel 4, Disney+, ITV, Netflix, Merman, Me+You Productions, Rogan Productions, Two Brothers Pictures, Wall to Wall and many more.
I'm also an experienced personal publicist, with past clients including Sir Mo Farah, Larry Lamb and Sharon Horgan. I particularly enjoy working with creators, scriptwriters and authors, and believe passionately in the power of storytelling to create meaningful change.
My recent clients include The Royal Foundation of The Prince and Princess of Wales’ Homewards programme, demonstrating that homelessness can be ended. I also sit on the steering group of my local Film Office, driving investment in the creative economy.
If you’d like to explore how I can support your project – or to book a free initial consultation – please see the links below.
I serve clients nationwide.
I work with one, or a small number of clients at any one time. This means that I can offer you a quality, personalised and boutique service.
Honesty, authenticity and trust are fundamental to good PR – and these are the foundations on which I operate. With a 17-year career in the creative industries, I bring an established and trusted reputation to our work together.
Quite simply, we achieve so much more when we work together. I love collaborating with others as part of my work and believe we do our best work by coming together, sharing ideas and supporting each other.
I passionately believe in the power of the creative industries to be a force for good in the world.
By sharing stories, experiences and generating conversation we can make a real difference. If your work has a positive impact story to tell, I would love to work with you.
I am committed to sustainable, ethical working practices and I am a member of the Clean Creatives network.
PR is all about building an emotional connection with an audience. Our words and gestures have such power, and I strive to ensure that kindness and compassion are at the centre of my work.
I am trained in Mental Health First Aid and L2 Counselling Skills.
PR is rarely predictable, nor is it confined to standard working hours. With my varied expertise and flexible lifestyle, I can easily adapt to your bespoke needs.
I relish new opportunities to learn and grow and I genuinely care about helping you achieve your PR goals. I am energised by applying my learnings and skillset to new challenges.
PR and events can be high pressured. I love this work and thrive on this work. Alongside, I am also committed to prioritising my wellbeing, ensuring that I bring my best self to our work together.
